EarthSoft announced today the commercial release of the new EQuIS for AutoCAD module. EQuIS for AutoCAD will generate advanced environmental and geotechnical graphics within AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map or AutoCAD Civil, from EQuIS Schema databases and EQuIS Professional.
Many EarthSoft clients have requested AutoCAD integration to streamline their graphics production and workflows. EQuIS for AutoCAD runs as an extension in AutoCAD versions 2010, 2011, and 2012. The extension allows you to connect directly to your EQuIS Schema databases. This release of EQuIS for AutoCAD will plot locations as well as any location-based published crosstab report. EQuIS for AutoCAD will:- Define the AutoCAD block types of drawn locations based on the EQuIS location types, and filter which locations are drawn based on groups or sample matrixes.
- Define exceedance reports and the crosstab designs within EQuIS and make them available. The tables will be drawn based on the display settings defined in the crosstabs, or use the default table setup within AutoCAD.
- Support adding leader lines within AutoCAD connecting contamination tables to the corresponding locations.
