“My big brother is a police officer in Denison, Texas and I’m always so proud of him. He may be a huge, bear of a guy that rides a Harley….but really he’s a teddy bear who became a police officer to help people. He has been with Denison PD for almost 16 years now and was recently promoted to Sergeant after spending a few years in narcotics (along with being a SWAT leader) and he’s never waivered in his commitment to the community of people that make up Denison. There is so much negativity toward police these days and it scares me to think my brother could catch the brunt of it one day. I love my big brother so much and I’m so incredibly proud of the selfless profession he has chosen for his career.”
