April 10, 2009 – EarthSoft announces an imminent major EQuIS release in Q2, several new EZView exports and reports, new development collaborations, and several new clients in the first quarter of 2009. New clients in the first quarter include St. John-Mittelhauser, Western Refining, Solutions-IES, City of Albuquerque, Matrix New World Engineering, AMEC (Fresno), Donlin Creek LLC, Booz Allen Hamilton, Augean, Patriot Coal, URS Corp (Wayne NJ), Tronox LLC, Environment Canada (Ontario) and Montana DEQ. EarthSoft added several new labs to the list of labs with EDP.

The EQuIS WI DNR Export is available in the next release of EZView for generating the necessary files reporting landfill monitoring results to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources – Bureau of Waste Management. The WI DNR requires that all monitoring results, including groundwater, surface water, leachate, and gas, be reported to the Department electronically within 60 days of the end of the sampling period.

EarthSoft wishes to thank Dr. Stephen Lehrke, a lead environmental statistician at Foth Infrastructure & Environment in Green Bay, WI who notes: “We were very pleased to have EarthSoft as a partner developing a custom utility within EQuIS meeting data reporting requirements to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources-Bureau of Waste Management. Using EQuIS we initiated an enterprise level solution which automates our data workflow throughout the entire process from sample planning through data reporting and agency submittals. As a result we are able to maintain high levels of data quality and pass on efficiency gains to our clients.”

EQuIS can now produce NDEP Form 0190 for Nevada Department of Environmental Protections regulations for water pollution. New DMR or NPDES reports were added for several states including IL, IN, KY, WY, and others. EarthSoft is also updating the GeoTracker export from EQuIS, and providing a West Virginia DEP export.

EarthSoft WQX extensions support STORET connectivity and Montana DEQ joins the list of US states implementing EQuIS to fulfill the mandated state maintained WQX node. EarthSoft is also developing data structures for Vapor Air Intrusion.

EarthSoft CEO Mitch Beard said, “EarthSoft grew substantially in a quarter when other environmental software companies downsized. EarthSoft will continue to deliver significant innovation to our clients in Q2, with the new releases of Sample Planning Module and more IDEFs, as well as many new and updated EZView reports and dashboards.“

EarthSoft’s collaboration with QED will automate logging and loading of well level and flow monitoring data from QED‘s Retriever products directly to EQuIS 5.

EarthSoft’s EQuIS is the most widely used environmental data management system in the world. For further information please visit www.earthsoft.com or write info@earthsoft.com.
