Trainer
Description EarthSoft Trainers are enthusiastic individuals with strong technical Environmental Quality Information System (EQuIS) aptitudes. They use excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to data management professionals in a variety of settings. Whether they are communicating online over GoToTraining® or flying hundreds of miles to engage our clients in person, EarthSoft Trainers maintain a high level of energy, adaptability and professionalism to best serve the training needs of our clients.
Location Must be in close proximity to major airport
Responsibilities
  • Organize course content according to client objectives
  • Prepare Training material (presentations, exercises, etc.)
  • Execute Training sessions, webinars, workshops, etc. in groups or individually based on specific classroom agendas
  • Arrange for and conduct on-site and/or online Training sessions
  • Maintain and report data on completed courses, absences, issues, etc.
  • Observe and evaluate results of Training programs
  • Determine the overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements
Skills Required
  • Proven experience as a professional trainer or a strong aptitude as a public speaker
  • Ability to address training needs of EarthSoft clients
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint)
  • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field such as Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Chemistry or others
  • US and International travel may be required up to 50% of the time
  • Current passport or ability to acquire passport
Skills Preferred
  • In-depth experience with EQuIS

Description Description EarthSoft seeks a dynamic technical sales professional to join our team. A broad range of skills are required in order to prospect and sell the implementation and use of EQuIS, EarthSoft’s Environmental Quality Information System. EQuIS is the most widely used environmental data management system in the world. EQuIS is used by many government agencies, Industrial property owners, over 300 consultants, and over 400 analytical labs around the world. Many US EPA regions, state regulatory agencies, Army Corps, and other government organizations use EQuIS. EQuIS interfaces with ArcGIS for advanced environmental decision support and data analysis. Many other software products are integrated with EQuIS, and sales representatives should have the EQuIS expertise to understand a prospect’s environment data management needs; this requires the recognition of the appropriate software solution for simple to complex, multi-system configurations.
Location Remote; prefer locations in Portland, Seattle, or Denver
Skills Required
  • Demonstrate EQuIS via web meeting and onsite for potential customers

This support will be provided via email, telephone, and/or remote conferencing tools. You will be asked to use cloud-based software tools for project management, case tracking, and communications with a remote team of professionals for resolution.  Some travel is required. A broad range of troubleshooting skills is required in order to support the installation and use of EQuIS, EarthSoft’s Environmental Quality Information System. EQuIS is the most widely used environmental data management system in the world. EQuIS is used by many government agencies, Industrial property owners, over 300 consultants, and over 400 analytical labs around the world. Many US EPA regions, state regulatory agencies, Army Corps, and other government organizations use EQuIS. EQuIS interfaces with ArcGIS for advanced environmental decision support and data analysis. Many other software company link with EQuIS, and Help Desk must support, test, and problem-solve for complex, multi-system configurations.An ability to interface with professionals on tight deadlines in complex network configurations is critical for this job.
