2.) On the right hand side type in the MORNING WEB CONFERENCE ID: 397798
AFTERNOON WEB CONFERENCE ID: 398000
3.) Enter your name
4.) Leave all other fields BLANK
5.) Click ‘Join Conference’
6.) If prompted agree to installation
7.) There will be no call in number, audio will be streamed through your PC

Additional Information:
1) If this is your first web conference with EPA, run the new user test online at http://hawkeye.epa.gov/imtapp/app/nuf_sys.uix . If you fail any portion of the test, click on the details link to find tips to resolve your problem. If you cannot resolve an issue, contact epacallcenter@epa.gov for further support.

2) Please install the Oracle Web Conference client before joining the event. You may install it at anytime, though it is recommended that you do so at least a few hours before the call to avoid last minute complications. You may download the client from:
http://hawkeye.epa.gov/imtapp/console/cns_download.jsp?file=cnsconf&lang=en_US

3) You can log in from ANY computer with internet access using MS Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher and a recommended screen resolution of 1024×768 or higher. 4) You may see a message indicating that the Oracle software should be installed. CLICK YES! This is not a harmful program and you should have the rights to install it. It is simply an add-on to allow for the web-conference tools to run properly. If you do not have rights to install the add-on, please contact your local IT support to request help.
5.) Your screen may flicker as the software is installed and the web conference is opened up. This is completely normal.

Scott Kirchner (Program Chemist) CDM presentation: Complying with the EPA Region 2 MEDD

This presentation identifies some of the challenges that contractors may encounter while meeting the requirements of the EPA Region 2 MEDD. We will also discuss the stages of planning and executing a project to help mitigate the challenges.

Janet Magurn (EarthSoft President) Accessing and Reporting EPA Region 2 data in a web interface

This is a hands-on workshop focusing on reporting data that has been loaded into the EPA Region 2 system.  The data will be accessed and reported using the EQuIS Enterprise web based reporting tools.

Discussion Includes:

  • Compare results across multiple facilities.
  • Easily compare results to site specific and federal MCL standards.
  • Receive site reports automatically via email.
  • Simplify the 5 year review process.
  • Exchange data with Scribe, F2L, WQX, and other common EPA tools.
  • Discuss new Vapor Intrusion Data.

9:30 AM-11:30 AM EarthSoft Presentation using MEDD data in ArcGIS

This presentation will demonstrate how the data submitted to EPA Region 2 are being used in ArcGIS.  It will include querying data in sites such as Higgins Disposal, Lawrence Aviation, Old Roosevelt.

1:00 PM-3:30 PM ArcGIS Hands-on with Region 2 data

This session will be a hands-on session with ArcGIS and the EPA Region 2 data. We will query data, post results on a map, contour the data, and produce labeled maps.
