EarthSoft Receives
EBJ Business Achievement Award
For 2010 Sales and Product Development

…New Contracts with Iowa DNR, EPA Region 2, City of Tacoma, IBM, SGS, Pace Labs, and others…

January 10, 2011 – EarthSoft announced today receipt of an EBJ Business Achievement Award, due to 92% growth in EQuIS Online, multiple new contracts and EQuIS system upgrades, including purchase orders from EPA Region 2 and City of Tacoma, WA. Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has placed a purchase order for EQuIS, and Pace Labs has chosen EQuIS for a hosted system providing data management services for a large industrial client.

Iowa joins the list of US state agencies using EQuIS for their Water Quality Exchange (WQX) network software, replacing STORET. Iowa DNR is migrating a large amount of STORET data to EQuIS and will make this data publically available using EQuIS.

Pace Labs is the first major lab implementing EQuIS Enterprise EDP for Labs (EEDPL), and has worked with EarthSoft on new functionality for EEDPL. Pace has used desktop EDP for many years and has seen a significant increase in the complexity and variability of EDDs. EEDPL can provide workflow automation for labs producing many flavors of different EDDs. EarthSoft’s EDP software is the most widely used EDD checking and workflow automation tools in the world. Every major lab in the US and Canada owns EDP.

EarthSoft released several new products including Sample Planning Module (SPM), EQuIS for ArcGIS Server (for web GIS), and an updated EQuIS supporting ArcGIS Version 10. EarthSoft’s new EQuIS Data Gathering Engine (EDGE) is a revolutionary new tool for field data collection.

EarthSoft’s Enterprise modules are web-enabled, with automated workflow, for large organizations wanting thin-client viewing and managing of environmental data. EQuIS Enterprise can be licensed or hosted.

GeoEngineers (www.geoengineers.com) implemented EQuIS for City of Redmond, WA, and will also implement EQuIS for City of Tacoma, WA.

Other new clients in 2010 included Louis Berger, Matrix Solutions, Worley Parsons in United Arab Emirates, Chesapeake Energy, Maul Foster & Alongi, Weiss Associates, PPM Consultants, Gannett-Fleming, TEI, First Environment, BASF, Weston, and others. New Australian clients included Golder Associates, URS, 4T, and Syrinx. New European clients included Golder Associates, SGS, ARCADIS, and ERM.

EarthSoft CEO Mitch Beard said, “EarthSoft Services Revenues grew 43% in 2010, and we continued to release new software modules and products at a rapid rate. With a healthy mix of government, industrial and consultant clients, our new products indicate a great 2011. Thanks to all our clients, and Happy New Year.”
